Beef and Bourbon.

I went on a little adventure on my own last night, as the wife was off visiting with her mom.

I should not be left to my own devices.

First stop was the art show at The Gastown Tattoo Parlor, which featured work from Jorden Blue and David James Doody, and free PBR.  Good times.

Outside I found these folks:

There’s a lot of good stuff going on in this photo. Cowboy shirts, summer suits, and bicycles. Excellent.

I really liked this outfit, great cohesion, and you can never go wrong with a good hat.

After the show I headed down to Peckinpah to visit my friend Liam Lux, eat BBQ and drink bourbon…lots of delicious bourbon.  Peckinpah has a bourbon list that fills an entire menu page, and I decided to have a one-man tasting event. I made some friends at the bar, and then decided to walk home from Gastown to Kitsilano at 2am, a bit more than wobbly.

Back out on the town tonight, and hopefully I will find more well dressed people!
