FASHION AND TATTOOS. YES PLEASE!

Last Thursday night was the Fashion Ink runway show at Club 919 in Victoria BC.  The show was organized by Jodi Bryans, and was a fundraiser for Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  There was  a huge turnout, and the show was a great success.  There were a number of local boutiques that participated, and the models were also the contestants for “Miss Capital City” of the Capital City Tattoo Convention.  The clothes were great, and the tattoos brought a nice edge to the show. Here are some shots from the show… (clearly I am still figuring out my camera…)

As always, Jodi put on a great show, and I can’t wait for her next event.

On a similar note, I got some work done by one of my best friends, Garret Egles, who works out of Granville St. Tattoos in Vancouver, BC.  It’s a Mexican Day of the Dead Sugar Skull, with crossed sewing needles, and the banner will have my wedding date on it. We will also be adding thread coming off the needles and wrapping around it.   I will be completing the tattoo in a few weeks at the Capital City Tattoo Convention.

That’s all for tonight!
